Craig Ackermann

PARTNER / MEDIATOR

Craig Ackermann has over 25 years of employment law experience, including 4 years of management-side employment defense experience at several large law firms, and over 20 years of experience on the plaintiffs' side, representing workers and executives in individual, collective, representative, and class action litigation cases, with an emphasis on wage-and-hour class actions in California and Washington and sexual and racial harassment/retaliation cases under Title VII and FEHA in California, Washington, and Texas. As an advocate, Craig has been involved in over 1,000 employment law-related mediations throughout his career.  He has also mediated numerous employment disputes as we continue to grow our practice. You can be assured that you are selecting an accomplished and seasoned employment law mediator with extensive class-action expertise, who additionally has learned dispute resolution first-hand by observing the top employment mediators in California, Washington, and Texas, over a span of many years and into the present.

Jaclyn Blackwell

PARTNER / CASE MANAGER

Jaclyn Blackwell is a principal and the Case Manager for Employment Mediation Corp. She has over ten years of experience in the legal field, including five years as a litigation assistant at a prominent landlord-tenant law firm in Santa Monica, and then over six years as the current Office Administrator for Ackermann & Tilajef, P.C. Jaclyn has been enthralled with the law since she was a little girl who fell in love with The Pelican Brief by John Grisham, and since teaming up with Craig in 2016 has become particularly interested in alternative dispute resolution as a fair and righteous tenet of the civil legal landscape. She graduated from UCLA in 2011 with a double major in History and Geography, and received her ADR certificate and completed mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law in 2023.
